Our service responds to approximately10,000 calls per year that are dispatched through the Dauphin County 911 system. Responses to these incidents are throughout our 7 municipalities and the neighboring communities with a fleet of 9 fully equipped ambulances that meet and exceed state and federal requirements. South Central EMS responds one or more Advanced Life Support squad units, Basic Life Support Ambulances and Mobile Intensive Care Units to a variety of 911 calls for emergency help. Our supervisory team consists of one Battalion Chief and Captain per platoon that supervises our elite staff of professionals.
Our Paramedics (also known as Advanced Life Support) are certified nationally and through the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Our top and senior Paramedics are also Critically Care certified. Our elite professionals have dedicated thousands of hours in order to administer the most superior treatment to you and your loved ones.
