EMTs - Emergency Medical Technicians

South Central EMS is currently recruiting Full-time EMTs.

South Central EMS EMTs are responsible for the full spectrum of out of hospital emergency patient care and transportation at the Basic Life Support (BLS) level as outlined in the PA EMS Act and as defined by the PA Department of Health scope of practice.

​

The ideal candidate will:

• Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and proficiency

• Have an in-depth knowledge of PA DOH BLS Protocol

• Function effectively in a team dynamic

• Possess strong communication skills

• Maintain composure under stressful situations

• Perform job tasks with minimal supervision

• Pass all required background and motor vehicle driving checks

• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred

 

Qualifications:

• 18 years or older

• High school diploma or G.E.D

• CPR

• EVOC

• EMSVO

• Haz-Mat Awareness

• Driver’s License

Paramedics/PHRNs

South Central EMS is currently recruiting Full-time Paramedics and PHRNs.

​

South Central EMS ParamedicS/PHRNS are responsible for the full spectrum of out of hospital emergency patient care and transportation at the Advanced Life Support (ALS) level as outlined in the PA EMS Act and as defined by the PA Department of Health scope of practice.

​

The ideal candidate will:

• Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and proficiency

• Have an in-depth knowledge of PA DOH Protocol

• Function effectively in a team dynamic

• Possess strong communication skills

• Maintain composure under stressful situations

• Perform job tasks with minimal supervision

• Pass all required background and motor vehicle driving checks

• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
